Ambassador Jannik
Many Republic visitors to Voss mistake Ambassador Jannik for one of his aides. Young and enthusiastic, the ambassador is determined to stand as a symbol of Republic integrity in Voss-Ka against the scheming of the Empire--but he's found it an uphill struggle. Ambassador Jannik has frequently clashed with the Empire's Sith diplomats, and is struggling to find a way to counter their smooth charm.
As part of his attempts to understand the Voss, Ambassador Jannik has accumulated a small library of Voss books and plays, and even converted to a traditional Voss diet. The Voss appear to view his efforts as merely more "outsider strangeness," but Ambassador Jannik has also commented that he now prefers Voss food to the supplies sent by the Republic.Category: Persons of Note

Darth Serevin
Cultured, diplomatic and charming, Darth Serevin is as concerned with appearance and manners as he is with seeking power. He once destroyed a former apprentice, not for his clumsy scheming and attempts at betrayal, but for insulting one of Serevin's dinner guests. For these reasons, when the Empire was still smoothing over its short-lived attempt at invading Voss and a diplomatic envoy of immense skill was called for, Darth Serevin's poise and experience made him the ideal choice.
Over his long tenure on Voss, Darth Serevin has developed a liking for Voss art and architecture; he recently sent orders for his own lodgings on Dromund Kaas to be redecorated accordingly. He has also seen the value of the Voss people to the Empire; gaining an army of Voss commandos and Mystics would make the Empire unstoppable, and Darth Serevin is intent on seeing this happen.Category: Persons of Note

- jokull
Jokull
Few Gormak show the strength and cunning to become chieftains; to become king takes extraordinary intelligence, ruthlessness and skill. Driven by his burning hatred for the Voss, the veteran warrior Jokull has united the Gormak under his rule and devoted himself to destroying every Voss on the planet. He has sought out ways to improve his weapons, driven his warriors through exhaustive training and ordered his technologists to build dreadful machines of war. His strategies have been surprisingly effective, often catching even the experienced Voss commandos off-guard.
Jokull's single-minded aggression toward the Voss has made the Gormak more dangerous than ever. The Voss commandos are now becoming overstretched as they attempt to defend Voss-Ka. If Jokull's campaign of violence cannot be stopped, it is conceivable that he may soon break through to Voss-Ka and burn it to the ground.Category: Persons of Note

Kaya Natari
While training at the Institute of Cultural Studies on Onderon (ICSO), Kaya Natari was nominated for the prestigious Aryss Medal of Outstanding Scholarly Contribution for her study of the ancient Beast Riders' offensives against the city of Iziz.
She was rejected from further consideration, however, when the judgment committee discovered she had used unapproved and intrusive field methods for data collection. Despite this setback, Natari graduated with distinction and began postdoctoral work on Ziost. She became embroiled in further scandal when samples from her project were found among items in a black market auction on Hutta.
Shifting from research to consulting, Natari has risen to prominence as an expert on historical and archaeological ventures for private interests seeking a proven authority--without the cumbersome ethics. Her work has included negotiating on behalf of corporate interests with local indigenous cultures for resource rights; conducting exploratory surveys and appraisals of artifacts found during construction; investigating and assessing potential historical sites; and acting as an expert witness in legal matters.
In recent years, Natari has accepted contracts with the Corellian Engineering Corporation, Drakon Industries, and Czerka Interstellar. Rumors that she is currently writing exploratory reports for conglomerates with ties to the Hutt Cartel are unconfirmed.Category: Persons of Note

- kodom
Kodom
As a seasoned warrior who left the battlefield in favor of politics, Kodom has seen every side of the Gormak-Voss conflict. His outspoken views on ending the generational bloodshed between his people and the Voss have made him a divisive figure within Gormak society.
A Voss bombardment of his village took much of Kodom's family and pushed him to the front lines, but despite this, he is famous for saying to both Gormak and Voss detractors: "I have not suffered any more or any less than you, but I see those I have lost not as a source of revenge, but as a reminder of why the future must be one of peace."
Kodom's selection as a representative of the Shrine Restoration Initiative incurred the wrath of hard-liners who insisted that, by even considering the position, he was capitulating to his "Voss masters" and betraying his people. Despite these challenges, Kodom's reputation as a firm, fair, and articulate voice of the Gormak people--as well as his practical and reasoned leadership--has succeeded in quieting the louder voices of his opposition.Category: Persons of Note

- maton_ja
Maton-Ja
With a long and storied career as a guide and healer for Voss on their pilgrimage, the Mystic Maton-Ja was considered a natural choice to help manage the Shrine Restoration Initiative. The Voss's truce with the Gormak required not only measured understanding and compassion, but unwavering commitment to a future of cooperation between the traditional enemies. Maton-Ja's determination to move forward and create positive change became a critical advantage for maintaining the tenuous alliance during the planning phase of the Initiative.
Despite Maton-Ja's convictions, years of helping those affected by the ongoing violence between the two peoples engineered a deep resentment toward the Gormak. Although he once struggled to overcome such animosity, his opinion of the Gormak has softened considerably since joining the Shrine Restoration Initiative. He credits his change of heart to the tireless energy and relentless focus on the practical tasks needed to rebuild the soul of the planet, demonstrated by the Gormak representative, Kodom.Category: Persons of Note
