Sporefall
"The area we have designated "Sporefall" is perhaps the most fascinating of the three emerging ecosystems. The Jannimak is discharging large volumes of an unclassified spore, to remarkable effect. The spores themselves mutate and multiply at a rapid pace, but what's even more remarkable is the incredible--and incredibly rapid--growth they spark in the native flora!
I, and other team members, are extremely excited by the spores' possible benefits to bioscience research. Unfortunately, my researchers' sampling and containment efforts have been hindered by the effects--sleepiness, nausea, disorientation--of prolonged exposure to the area. Not ideal when the spores also trigger aggressive behavior in the native animals. I've encouraged the teams to power through--imagine the use cases if we could harvest and control that biotechnology!"
