The Enigma
Like her fellow Dark Lords of the Sith, Darth Nul amassed a wealth of assets as her power grew. But while many Sith gathered resources for protection, control, or to keep themselves in the Emperor's favor, Nul was one of the few Sith who used her privileges in pursuit of knowledge.
Through manipulation and grand demonstrations of her intellect, Nul acquired assets specifically to explore the mysteries of life, the Force, and existence: laboratories and storage facilities; followers to serve her, help conduct her experiments, and keep the results a secret; and perhaps most surprisingly, a massive starship.
Nul was uninterested in the star destroyers commanded by many Dark Lords. Her ship, "The Enigma," was a self-sustaining research facility capable of traversing the farthest expanses of the galaxy. Built to Nul's exact specifications, the Engima was a complex network of biomes and laboratories dedicated to exploring the many mysteries Nul was obsessed with understanding.
After Darth Nul was destroyed by the Emperor, the followers who stayed loyal to her cause raced to conceal her holdings from their master's killer. A group charged with the Enigma's maintenance fled with the vessel to Wild Space, where they drifted aimlessly. Today, the ship is overrun with wildlife and vegetation, its only inhabitants the offspring of Nul's experiments that survived the lonely centuries.
